Patrick J. Frawley is a partner in the Nicholson, Davis, Frawley, Anderson and Ayer law firm specializing in general litigation.
Frawley joined the law firm in 1983 after having graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1983 and after earning a BA from USC in 1980. Frawley also attended Michigan State University as an undergraduate. While at the University of South Carolina , Frawley served as editor-in-chief of the South Carolina Law Review.
A native of Michigan , Frawley practices in the areas of general litigation, premises liability defense, personal injury defense, and appellate practice. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the South Carolina and Lexington County Bars. He served as President of the Lexington County Bar in 1994, and was a Member of the South Carolina Bar House of Delegates in 1988-89.
Frawley has litigated numerous reported cases including
South Carolina Electric and Gas Co. vs. Hix, 306 S.C. 173 (Ct. App. 1991),
Hite vs. Ed Smith Lumber Mill , Inc. 309 S.C. 185 (Ct. App. 1992),
Watson vs. Suggs 313 S.C. 291 (Ct. App. 1993) and
Strother vs. Lexington County Recreation 324 S.C. 611 (Ct. App. 1996).
Frawley currently resides in Lexington with his wife Barbara. They are the proud parents of three sons, Matthew, Max and Tucker. An avid baseball and Detroit Tigers fan, Frawley has coached several of his sons' numerous youth teams.
