Randy Davis is the senior partner in the law firm of Davis, Frawley, Anderson, McCauley, Ayer, Fisher & Smith, LLC having joined the firm in 1972. He is a native of Conway, South Carolina but has lived in Lexington County since 1950 having grown up in the West Columbia area of Lexington County. He is a graduate of Brooklyn-Cayce High School and finished in 1965 and a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in International Studies in 1969 and obtained his law degree from the University of South Carolina in 1972. He has been active in the South Carolina Bar since 1972, including being a member of the Real Estate Section, and the Lexington County Bar. He was also a member of the House of Delegates 1984-1986, President of the Lexington County Bar Association in 1990, a member of the Lexington County Public Defender Board for 9 years, and a member of the Fee Dispute Board in Lexington County for 9 years, previous Municipal Judge for the Town of Lexington, and previously recognized as an Outstanding Lawyer of America. He has also been active in civic affairs over his career including working as a volunteer for the United Way of the Midlands, West Columbia/Cayce/Lexington Sertoma Club, a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, member of the South Carolina National Bank and Wachovia Advisory Board for 20 years, Board Member of Lexington Medical Center, and Board Chairman of Lexington Medical Center for 2 years. He has primarily worked in the real estate area, including residential closing, real estate transactions and real estate litigation, including condemnation matters, partition actions, actions to quiet title, and title insurance claims. He has been a title insurance agent for 25 years for Lawyers Title as well as Common Wealth Title Insurance companies. He has spoken at seminars for the South Carolina Bar on subject involving real estate over the years.
