Lisa Lee Smith, Partner
Lisa Lee Smith is a partner with the Nicholson, Davis, Frawley, Anderson & Ayer law firm. Lisa joined the firm in 1997 after having served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Willaim P. Keesley in 1996-1997. Lisa is a 1991 graduate of Clemson University and a 1995 graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law. Lisa is a Certified Circuit Court Mediator.
Lisa's practice areas include representing both Plaintiffs and Defendants in State and Federal Trial Courts in South Carolina, including Masters and Probate Courts. Lisa's practice also includes all areas of Real Estate Law - including property litigation, residential transactions and commercial transactions. While with the firm, Lisa litigated the reported cases of Mosteller vs. County of Lexington, 520 S.E.2d 620; 366 S.C. 360 (1999) and W.R.B. Limited Partnership vs. County of Lexington, 520 S.E.2d 620; 369 S.C. 30 (2006).
Lisa is very active in the South Carolina Bar Association as a member of the House of Delegates and committees focused on Law Related Education and Professional Responsibility. Lisa is currently a member of The Professional Potential Task Force of the South Carolina Bar. Lisa is a past President of the Lexington County Bar Association and continues to serve on its Advisory Counsel. Lisa is a Fellow of Litigation Counsel of America - a Trial Lawyer Honorary Society and is a member of the American Bar Association.
