Jeff M. Anderson is a partner in the Nicholson, Davis, Frawley, Anderson and Ayer law firm. Anderson is a 1983 graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law and a 1980 graduate of Clemson University . While at Clemson, Anderson was a member of the Blue Key Honor Fraternity.

Prior to joining the Nicholson Law Firm in 1985, Anderson served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable George Bell Timmerman, Jr. in 1983-84 and for Hubert E. Long in 1984-85. Anderson is a member of the South Carolina and Lexington County Bars. He is fully licensed to appear before the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina and the United States 4th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Anderson has litigated numerous reported cases including Hardaway vs. County of Lexington, 443 S.E.2d 569 (1991), Hembree vs. Estate of Hembree , 428 S.E.2d 3 (Ct. App. 1993) and State vs. Degnan , 305 S.C. 369 (1991). Anderson primarily practices in the areas of governmental law, civil litigation, real estate, environmental real estate and zoning and land use. Additionally, Anderson has served as the Attorney for the County of Lexington since 1988.

A native of Edgefield , SC , Anderson currently resides in Lexington with his wife of 21 years, the former Melanie Priester. They are the proud parents of two children, Jeffrey (17) and Bethany (12). Anderson is an avid supporter of Clemson athletics and can often be found watching his beloved Tigers on Saturday afternoons in the autumn. Anderson is also an avid golfer.
