George S. Nicholson, Jr. Partner:
George S. Nicholson, Jr. is the senior partner of Nicholson, Davis, Frawley, Anderson and Ayer, LLC. He joined the Nicholson law firm in 1969, after having graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1967 and Wofford College in 1964. Immediately prior to joining the firm, he served in South Vietnam where, as a Captain in the United States Army, he was awarded the Bronze Star in 1969.
A native of Saluda County, South Carolina, Nicholson practices in the areas of Real Estate and Property litigation, Real Estate transactions (residential and commercial), Real Estate Title Insurance and General Litigation. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the South Carolina and Lexington County Bars. He served as President of the Lexington County Bar in 1981, and was a Member of the South Carolina Bar House of Delegates in 1982-83. Nicholson is a member the South Carolina chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates; having served as President in 2001. He is also a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.
Nicholson currently resides in Springdale with his wife of 43 years, the former Robin Clark. Together they have 2 children and 5 grandchildren. In addition to being a citizen, Nicholson is also the current municipal judge for the Town of Springdale .
